Day 87

Tanya is visiting us again.

Graffiti festival, Under Pressure, in Montreal, province Quebec.

A native of Odessa, Ukraine, Denys from Toronto, one of the winners in hip-hop dance competition.

Montreal attempted to take Chicago’s first place in our north american city rating chart. We agreed that this is a different weight class – “old city”, in which it is an absolute leader.

Days 85 and 86

We are having difficulties with internet in Canada.

We are driving for two days from Nova Scotia to Quebec.

For the most part the road lies through the forest. Boring drive.

But sometimes it gets very pretty.

Day 84

Foshik is bleeding oil at auto-clinic in Portland, Maine.

You see, Ruslan really wanted to visit Nova Scotia. 900 miles or 1470 kilometers, next to nothing.

The end of north-american earth: atlantic coast, city of Halifax, province Nova Scotia, Canada.

We liked it in Halifax.

Day 83

One of the famous covered bridges of New England in the town of Taftsville, Vermont.

The public restroom building (from our, traveler’s, point of view 😉 ; in reality it’s a capitol) in Concord, New Hampshire.

Anew, a topical call on the remains of Berlin wall in Portland, Maine.

Day 82

The Million Dollar Staircase at the New York State Capitol in Albany.

Scare photo: Ruslan couldn’t see himself in the mirror at the Empire State Plaza.

It had to happen sometime. Boasts like “I will catch this straight off with one hand” are punishable.

Meanwhile, Foshik is already in Vermont.

Day 81

Foshik safely arrived to Times Square in NYC and left right away to come back in September.

Day 80

Subway entrance in Brooklyn, NYC, NY.

Alla against a refined interior background of the New York subway.

An intense game of chess in Union Square.

Ruslan is choosing a wardrobe for himself for Burning Man at Halloween Adventures store on 4th Avenue.

Young and, in their own way, stylish wanderers in Manhattan.

Day 77

Amusing shoes. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The youngest member of the Crowd Pleasers (literally: crowd pleasers) family team is making the first steps in photography with the help of Alla’s camera.

Gala cleaning.

90% humidity in the form of fog in the air at our last night’s lodging in the township of Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

Day 76

Alla is racing seagulls at the Atlantic Ocean shore.

Defective pixel or perfectionist’s nightmare at the Ballys Casino-Hotel in Atlantic City.

Typical voluntary victim of One Arm Bandit at the Caesars Casino.

To all who asked: we really do earn part of our living off of this blog – for publishing this photo we were given an advance – one huge cheese pizza slice.

At night time service entrances in Atlantic City could be more attractive than some downtown streets.

Day 74

The Ohio State’s Capitol in Columbus.

The owner of this Russian store called “Russian Home” in Columbus, Valeriy Petrosyan, is sharing the history of a photograph with the legendary hockey players Valery Kharlamov and Boris Mikhailov.

An Ohio farmer-mennonite in his office.

An Amish girl at the farmer’s auction near the town of Charm, Ohio.
